Peshawar: Jirga put up 11-year-girl for sale

The father of the girl is bound to raise voice in front of the Peshawar High Court for protection.As per details, Muhammad Nawaz’s relatives demanded hand of her 11-year-old daughter Zainab and stood against him when he refused to meet their demand.The people of clan started threatening Nawaz who along with his family shifted to Peshawar for security.During this, the clan decided that if Nawaz is not inclined to give the hand of his daughter, he would have to pay the clan Rs3,00,000 as a fine.The helpless father along with his family protested in front of the Peshawar High Court while seeking justice.The girl’s academic activities have come to an end after the brutality of feudal system.The father also set the books of his daughter on fire as a protest.
