Summary Pakistan Railways on Tuesday started shuttle train service between Lahore and Shahdara.

Javed Anwar, Divisional Superintendent Railways, inaugurated the shuttle train service between Lahore Railway Station and Shahdara Railway Station.The shuttle train will operate with five bogies with a capacity for 300 passengers.The one-way fare of the train would be Rs 30 and it would cover the distance within 20 minutes.The shuttle train’s operation will be conducted 16 times a day between Lahore and Shahdara.According to Pakistan Railways authorities, the train route would also be started for Kot Lakhpat if the shuttle train gets good response from the commuters.
