Summary LHC has ordered Aesha Ahad to appear in the court regarding police torture case.
LHC Justice Mazhr Iqbal Sindho conducted hearing of the writ petition moved by Aesha Malik who said by her counsel said that senior police officers including ex-IG Rana Maqbool tortured her on the direction an influential political personality.It was also said in the petition that the police were not registering case despite involvement of accused in the crime.The counsel for the petitioner also prayed to the court that special orders should be issued for registration of case against accused.After hearing preliminary discussion, the court ordered the petitioner Aasha Ahad to appear in the court on April 16.
