Summary A citizen of Tando Jam tried to commit suicide after police wrongly declared him a dacoit.
According to details, Jan Muhammad alias Jano Chandio tried to commit suicide as he shot himself near Katiyan Railway Station area after Hyderabad police had wrongly implicated him 18 cases of robberies and fixed five hundred thousand rupees as his head money.Jan Muhammad was rushed to Jam Taluka Hospital from where police arrested him and shifted him to the Civil Hospital, Hyderabad where his condition is stated to be critical. The female heirs of Jan Muhammad staged a protest against police at the Civil Hospital, Hyderabad for wrongly implicating him is robbery cases and also raised slogans against them. The protesters also beat up police officials and pelted stone at the police vans. The police party fled from the premises of the hospital.
