Summary 6 policemen suspended over allegedly torturing a teacher to death in Chiniot.
According to the details, school teacher Abdul Quddos was arrested two months ago over accusations of his involvement in firing incident.The police escorted him to his home after allegedly torturing him in a private torture cell three days ago. The victim’s family took him to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries.Soon after the airing of the report on Dunya News, the DPO of Chiniot took notice of the incident and suspended six police personnel including two inspectors. The victim was accused of murdering a resident Ahmed Yousaf four months ago.
