Summary A 40-year-old man was trapped to death by a lift elevator in Shah Alam Market.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim Imran Hayder was opening the door of plaza lift that suddenly, it moved towards upside, trapping his foot in the lift door.As a result, he sustained severe injuries and ultimately died on spot. Trader’s community held a protest demonstration with his body on the road and alleged that government is responsible for his death.Protestors warned that if his heirs were not provided justice, they would extend the chain of protest.They also announced to hold shutter down strike against the incident on 31st of March.
