Summary Families of a love marriage couple clashed in LHC compound while the husband fled with his wife.
Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik of the Lahore High Court (LHC), on Tuesday, allowed Asma to go with her husband Riaz after recording their statement and directed the court to provide security to the couple.As the couple came out of out the courtroom, their families clashed with each other during which Asma and Riaz were also tortured.During the brawl, the brother of the girl took her by force and tried to escape from the scene but Riaz and his fellows caught him near the compound gate and beat him.The groom succeeded to flee with his bride amid the scuffle while Asma was given first-aid in the dispensary of High Court as her health deteriorated during the clash.
