Summary A PIA flight coming from Turbat to Karachi narrowly escaped fatal accident after bird strikes.
According to reports, a Pakistan International Airline’s plane was coming from Turbat to Karachi when two birds struck with the plane 15 nautical miles away from Karachi.One bird struck with the tip of the right wing of the plane causing an eight inch hole into the wing while the other bird entangled in the air conditioner.However, the pilot, very skillfully, controlled the plane and safe landing of the aircraft made possible.The PIA authorities grounded the plane after the accident.
