Summary A petition was filed in Supreme Court against sale and purchase of Senate votes in recent polls.
The petitioner’s counsel Barrister Zafarullah filed a petition in the apex court, stating that the worst ever trading was made in the Senate elections and Rs 30 million rate was fixed for a single vote. He said that the act was a mala fide intention to deceive the nation.The petitioner requested the court to declare the elections null and void.
