PM hails mission of PPP workers

While addressing a public meeting at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Basti at Tehsil Kot Addu in District Muzaffargarh, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said PPP is a name of a mission and movement and its workers are ideological and he feels proud having such courageous workers. He stated that these were the workers of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto who laid down their lives for the rights of the people. It was a big disaster and we are proud of our nation to meet this natural challenge, he added.Prime Minister distributed the keys and allotment letters of 143 newly constructed houses among the deserving women affected by the floods.Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar also addressed the gathering and said that it was the fourth visit of the Prime Minister to this area which speaks for itself that how he is giving importance to the backward areas.She also paid rich tributes to the flood affectees who helped themselves by taking full part in the rehabilitation process. She said it was a far sighted dream that we would be able to build houses for flood affectees‚ but it include the untiring efforts of the PPP led government.About the creation of Saraiki province‚ she said the creation of a new province would not only eliminate the sense of deprivation of the area but it would make more concrete the country.
