Karzai urges friendly Pak-Afghan relations

Afghan President Hamid Karzai wrote a letter to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, stressing on the need to ensure implementation of decisions, taken in the third three-nation conference in Islamabad.According to a statement issued by Prime Minister Office Friday, Karzai thanked Prime Minister Gilani for the hospitality he received during his visit to Pakistan.Karzai emphasized on the continuation of bilateral relationship based on equality. He said the third three-nation summit provided a platform to cement ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan.“Pakistan and Afghanistan are twin brothers,” he wrote. The Afghan President reiterated his resolve to continue efforts for restoration of peace and stability in this region.
