Summary PM Yousaf Raza Gilani says government has no intention to slap curbs on the media.
Talking to Dunya News, he said that the government believes in freedom of media. The government neither has any intention to impose restrictions on media nor is any law being introduced in this regard.He said that all rumours are baseless pertaining to curbs on freedom of expression.He said that he have had a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari who assured that such information is baseless and has nothing to do with the reality.He said the PPP always has been raising voice for freedom of media and would continue its endeavours in future.
