Summary MD Pepco says loadshedding could not come to an end until loans are recovered.
While addressing a ceremony in Lahore, Pepco Managing Director Rasool Khan Mahsood said that phase of loadshedding could not come to an end during summer; however, it may be decreased with the passage of time.He said that until the issue of circular debt is resolved, end to loadshedding is impossible. He said recovery of bills in Punjab is satisfactory to an extent while the situation is very poor in other provinces.The government has been informed that loadshedding situation would remain unchanged till collection of unpaid bills, he concluded.
