Summary PM Gilani called on President Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.
A press release from the President House said current situation was discussed during the meeting.The recently held by-election of the National and Provincial assemblies and the forthcoming Senate elections were also discussed.Earlier, Chief of the Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and discussed security situation in the country.In the meeting held at the Prime Minister House, professional matters pertaining to the country’s defence also came under discussion, according to APP news agency.
