Summary Government has decided to impose radio tax on mobile consumers for revival of Radio Pakistan.
National Assembly Standing Committee for Information and Communication has also favoured the decision.Federal Minister for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that two rupees would be charged on a card of Rs 100. The decision would be in effect after budget of next fiscal year.She said that the government has taken this decision to bring the Radio Pakistan out of crisis.
