According to sources, instructor and trainee pilot died in a crash of a trainer aircraft in H-block of the Model Town area, with technical malfunction cited as a preliminary cause.The single-engine plane operated by the local air clubtook off from Walton Airport near Ferozepur Road and crashed on to a house no. 143-H in Model Town.“It crashed on a house, but the residents are safe,” a police official said.Rescue workers and other concerned authorities reached on the site and retrieved the bodies from wreckages of the plane.The victims have been identified as Captain Anita Qureshi and trainee Waqar Asif.
