Summary Unknown miscreants plant bomb near a private checkpoint in Tirah valley.
At least five people were killed and seven others were wounded in a bomb explosion in Tirah valley in Khyber Agency.According to local government official,the bomb in the lawless Khyber tribal district on the Afghan border, was planted by local militant group led by warlord Mangal Bagh.It was a planted bomb and was detonated when the anti-militiamen reached a private checkpoint run by the militants, who had deserted the checkpoint, Mumtaz told AFP.As a result of blast five people were killed on the spot while seven others sustained serious injuries.Locals rushed to the area and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals.
