ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The technical-level talks under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding will be held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on Sunday (today).
According to Foreign Office, representatives of the United States and Iran, along with mediators from Pakistan and Qatar, will participate in the discussions.
Pakistan will continue to facilitate the process in its role as mediator, with a view to advancing the understandings reached under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
Earlier in the day, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran and met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during his visit to Iran to discuss the Iran-US ceasefire, Iran’s state media reported.

Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the successful completion of the peace agreement and praised Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s tireless efforts as a key factor behind its success.
A telephone conversation was held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which the premier congratulated the Saudi leader on the historic Islamabad Peace Agreement and thanked Saudi Arabia for its consistent support for Pakistan’s peace initiatives.

Shehbaz Sharif said the peace agreement between Iran and the United States was made possible with the strong backing of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
In response, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the successful conclusion of the landmark agreement and highlighted Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s efforts as an important contribution to achieving the breakthrough.
The two leaders expressed their determination to ensure the success of upcoming Iran-US negotiations and stressed the need to remain vigilant against any attempts to sabotage the dialogue process.
