RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) - A special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has approved a request by Aleema Khan to recall two witnesses for further cross-examination in connection with the November 26 protest case.

According to court sources, the witnesses have been summoned to appear on June 10 after the court accepted the application seeking their re-examination.

The court ordered the appearance of the case's former investigating officer, Raja Iftikhar, and NCCIA officer Nadir, both considered key witnesses in the proceedings related to the protest case registered at Saddar Bairooni Police Station.

Aleema Khan was present in court when the application was taken up and approved.

Following the decision, the court adjourned further proceedings in the case until June 10. Aleema Khan and 11 other accused persons have also been directed to appear at the next hearing.

The case pertains to allegations linked to the November 26 protest, with legal proceedings continuing before the anti-terrorism court.
