RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were allowed to meet inside the jail, according to prison sources.
Officials said the meeting took place in a conference room and lasted approximately 50 minutes.
However, lawyers and family members who had arrived to meet Imran Khan were reportedly not granted permission to meet him.
Separately, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Shafi Jan, and Mian Khan Afridi were present at the Factory Naka point, while Imran Khan’s three sisters also remained at the location along with a large number of party workers.
The situation outside the facility remained tense as supporters and family members waited for access that was ultimately not granted.
