BAKU (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz received a warm welcome upon arriving in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, along with her delegation.

Maryam Nawaz and the delegation were received at Baku Airport by Deputy Minister for Defence Industry Mr Mehman Bakhshiyev.

During her three-day visit, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will be a special guest of the Government of Azerbaijan.

She is scheduled to meet President Ilham Aliyev on May 17.

The chief minister will represent Pakistan at the World Urban Forum and address the World Leaders Summit at the Baku Olympic Stadium.

At the World Urban Forum, the Punjab Chief Minister will present the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” model.

Punjab’s unique affordable housing initiative, “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar,” will be showcased at the forum.

The delegation also includes Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Information Minister Azma Bukhari, Housing Minister Bilal Yasin, Sports Minister Faisal Ayub, Agriculture Minister Ashiq Hussain Kirmani, and Special Assistant Ali Dar.
