KARACHI (Dunya News) - A Karachi court has approved the physical remand of accused Anmol alias Pinky until May 22.

The Judicial Magistrate Central issued the ruling on a police request seeking her physical remand.

In connection with a case registered in District Central, the accused, Anmol alias Pinky, was presented before the Duty Magistrate Central Court in Karachi, where investigating officials requested her physical remand.

Court proceedings at the City Court were disrupted due to a power outage, causing official matters to be suspended.

During the interruption, lawyers argued that a verbal order should be issued on the accused’s bail application, while the Malir Court had already sent the accused to jail on judicial remand.

The court remarked that no order would be issued until electricity was restored.

The judge observed that if the case had involved paan or gutka, an immediate order could have been passed.
