Summary A news rain and snowfall spell is expected to start in different parts of the country from Sunday.
Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country during g last 24 hours. Extremely cold weather gripped Lower Dir where land routes have closed due to 3to 4-inch snowfall.Parachinar remained extremely cold with -15C while temperature is rising gradually in Sindh and Balochistan.According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), intermittent rain is expected on Sunday and Monday in some parts of eastern Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.Snowfall is expected in mountain areas while more snowfall has been predicted in Murree and Galiyat.
