SHAKARGARH (Dunya News) – Two people were drowned while fishing in the River Ravi near Kartarpur, a twon in the Shakargarh Tehsil of Narowal District in Punjab province, on Thursday evening.
Rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and recovered the body of a 45-year-old man from the revir, while a 12-year-old boy who also drowned in the river is still missing, and the search for him is ongoing.
Both victims were fishing on the riverbank when they drowned. Rescue teams continue their operation to retrieve the body of the missing child.
