QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan’s Minister for Agriculture, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, has resigned from the Balochistan cabinet. His resignation is seen as a major blow to Chief Minister Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti’s government.
Mir Ali Hassan Zehri has also indicated that he will not withdraw his decision.
In his resignation, Ali Hassan Zehri stated that he felt unable to fulfil the promises made to the people of the province and, consequently, decided to step down. He also noted that a lack of time prevented him from concentrating fully on his ministerial duties.
Mir Ali Hassan Zehri wrote that he is resigning from his ministerial post in protest, alleging that Sarfraz Bugti has repeatedly interfered in his constituency.
It is worth noting that Ali Hassan Zehri is a prominent politician from Balochistan. He had been serving as the Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives. He has also previously served as the spokesperson for Asif Ali Zardari in Balochistan and as an adviser on industries and handicrafts.
