2012 year of Senate polls: Zardari

A special meeting of provincial ministers was held at Bilawal House in Karachi with President Zardari in the chair.Reconciliation policy will be continued in Senate polls, Zardari said.Sindh Minister for Information Shazia Marri said that the session reviewed performance of different departments. President asked the party leaders to enhance contacts with political parties with the direction that reconciliation policy would be continued for the Senate polls. No decision was taken to select Senate candidates from Sindh.After meeting, the President held a meeting with Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan and directed security departments to play a dynamic role for restoration of peace in the metropolis.
