Summary Punjab govt has transferred Secretary Health and Chief Executive PIC and suspended other officials.
A meeting was held in Chief Minister House with CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in the chair. Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Pervez Rashid, and other MPAs and officials attended the meeting.Rana Sanaullah informed the CM that more than 100 people have died in drug scandal and Punjab government did not take action against any official. Rana Sana suggested the CM to take serious steps so that PML-N could face the people in next coming elections.The head of CM Investigation Team Najam Saeed presented the report in the meeting. The Chief Minister has made Secretary Health Jahanzeb Khan and Chief Executive PIC Prof. Muhammad Azhar Officer on Special Duty and suspended MS Dr Jaafar Saleem, DMS, Pharmacist and store keeper.Director Drug Testing Laboratory Abdussalam Mufti was also suspended whereas; Secretary Agriculture Arif Nadeem was given charge of Secretary Health with immediate effect.
