Summary The session court extended remand of three owners of drug companies for five days.
The accused Azam Tahir, Muhammad Nadir and Muhammad Wasim were already on three-day remand. The FIA official presented them in the court and requested the court to extend their remand for more five days.The investigation officers said that the license of accused Muhammad Wasim’s medicine company had expired but he continued supply of medicines to the PIC hospital. Many officers of hospital are also involved in the mismanagement.The FIA officials further said that they have recovered 2,40,800 tablets from the medicine company owned by Muhammad Nadir, adding that due to reaction of these tablets, many patients had lost their lives.The FIA officials said that the accused should be sent on remand for more five days; so that they may be interrogated in this regard.
