Four killed, two injured in clash between rival groups in Kohat's Lachi bazaar

KOHAT (Dunya News) – Four people were killed and two others severely injured after an exchange of gunfire between two rival groups in Lachi bazaar, a tehsil of Kohat on Thursday.

Rescue teams reached the scene immediately after the shooting and shifted the injured and the bodies to Kohat’s DHQ Hospital.

According to rescue officials, the deceased were identified as Hassan, Zahir, Ghafoor and Mamoor, while the injured are said to be in critical condition.

Police stated that the incident appears to be the result of personal enmity.

Heavy contingents of security personnel have been deployed in the area due to rising tension, and a search operation is underway to arrest those involved in the shooting.
