The Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) has disconnected electricity supply of four offices of the city government Karachi located at the Civic Centre.The offices whose power supply has been disconnected included Department of Development Authority, Department of Health and Department of Transport and Communication.According to KESC official, these departments have owed Rs 140 million in dues while the overall arrears of city government is amounted to Rs 290 million.The disconnection of power supply has affected work of command and control room and at least 150 CCT cameras installed in different parts of the city have stopped working.
