Summary Pervez Musharraf has confirmed agreement with Sharif family for their asylum in Saudi Arabia.
Talking in Dunya News programme ‘News Watch’, the former president said that Nawaz Sharif and other members of his family did sign an agreement to go in exile in Saudi Arabia. However, Pervez Musharraf said it is a non-issue today.Asked if Rehman Malik’s claims before media were right then, Musharraf said he didn’t know of exactly what Malik had said.Musharraf earlier said that there was no secret agreement between him and Nawaz, but as for the exile deal, that was there.
