Summary PML-N has decided to increase pressure on government to implement NRO verdict.
The NRO decision by the SC has rendered the PPP government a legal blow which many fear would be too much for the government to handle as it is already embroiled in many other issues, foremost among them being the failure to deliver basic necessities to the common man. PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has called a meeting of the party to convey all members that the party wants the government to implement the Supreme Court’s NRO and all other verdicts. The party has also decided to initiate contacts with other parties to have court verdicts implemented.The PML-N says by hiding behind Article 248 of the Constitution, the PPP government has proved that there is something wrong at the bottom.On the other hand, PML-N leader Raja Zafarul Haq called on JUI chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and conveyed him Nawaz Sharif’s message.
