Summary The upper and western parts of the country are still in the grip of cold wave.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) mostly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however light rain is expected in some areas of Makran Division.Foggy conditions are likely to remain in plain areas of Punjab and KPK and Sukkur Division in Sindh during next 24-hours.According to Met office, the fresh cold wave may persist for two to three days.The lowest minimum temperature was recorded-15, -11 in Astore, -10 in Hunza and Skardu -8 C in Gopas, -9 C in Quetta, -5 C in Gilgit, -3 C in Murree, -1 C in Islamabad, Zero in Lahore, Muzaffarabad 1C, Multam, Faisalabad 2C each and in Peshawar 3C, while 10 C temperature was recorded in Karachi.
