PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has called a meeting of MPs on Sunday (today) ahead of Senate elections of the province to be held on Monday.

Sources privy to the development have revealed that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and some PTI leaders want that the oath from the elected members on reserved seats be not administered.

Important consultations will be held with members of the assembly on how to cancel the process of taking the oath from the members.

According to sources, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has called two meetings today for the first meeting at 10:30am and the second at 7:30 pm at the Chief Minister's House.
The meetings will discuss the current political situation, Senate elections and other matters. All members have been instructed to attend the meetings.

Sources revealed that in the meetings the chief minister will take the members into confidence for important decisions. He will also discuss with the members the situation that arose after the statements made by PTI disgruntled members.
