Massive protest in Punjab capital against gas crisis

Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other industrial organisations protested against gas loadshedding.The protestors staged a sit-in outside the LCCI. Afterward, the protestors reached Governor House in a rally and chanted slogans against gas loadshedding. They said that Punjab industries are being ill-treated. The Mall was blocked by protesters, causing traffic jam all along The Mall and on link roads. Meanwhile, Governor Punjab called the protestors representatives for talks but instead of holding talks with the protestors the Governor left for to attend the annual function of Lahore Bar Association.
