Change only through elections: PM Gilani

Addressing lawyers in Lahore, the PM said he wants electioneering to gear up in the country, as change should only be through elections.During the speech, a group of lawyers started booing the prime minister. They also raised Go Zardari Go slogans.The PM however continued: “We restored the Constitution, and we are its custodians for its protection.”The PM said there is democracy in the country, and judiciary and media are fully free. He also announced allocation of land for lawyers’ colony.PM Gilani said the PPP government fought for the restoration of democracy, constitution and judiciary in the country. He said today freedom is due to upholding constitution.
