Summary Countrys foreign and domestic debt increased to Rs. 10,984 bn in October 2011: Finance Minister
During National Assembly session chaired by Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi, Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh briefed that country’s domestic debt has increased to Rs. 6,232 billion and external debt stands at Rs. 4,751 billion.While submitting the statistics on illegal migrants, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said two million people from Bangladesh and 2.5 million people from Afghanistan are living illegally in the country.Also around 0.5 million illegal migrants belonging to Africa, Iran, Iraq and Myanmar are residing in Pakistan, Malik added.
