Summary Imran Khan warned govt of civil disobedience over energy crisis and price hike.
Addressing a press conference, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that after gas and electricity shortage, people have also deprived of transport.PTI, in a meeting of central working committee, will decide to launch civil disobedience movement against the government if the situation continued, Imran warned.He alleged that a matric pass individual has been appointed managing director of OGDCL which caused raise in gas theft and people’s suffering were multiplied.He said that the current government was created as a result of NRO.He quoted Condoleezza Rice that she arranged meeting between Pervez Musharraf and Benazir Bhutto and played a role in ending corruption cases to establish moderate government.He also demanded early elections saying that the government has lost mandate after these charges.Imran blamed that WAPDA disconnected 400,000 illegal connections but no action was taken against anybody.He said that 18th amendment damaged Punjab. Imran stressed to launch mass awareness campaign before the implementation on the amendment.Imran, while regretting sad killing of Dr Baqir Shah in Balochistan, asked the government to provide protection to the cameraman who photographed the slain doctor.
