Summary The country is in the grip of severe cold wave. Temperature fell to minus 12 Celsius in Skardu.
The Met office has predicted that cold and dry weather will continue in most parts of the country, however light rain and snow falling has also been forecasted in Kashmir and GB for next 24-hours. The plains areas are blanketed by thick fog, disrupting air and road travel.During last 24 hours, the lowest temperature was recorded -12 Celsius in Skardu, followed by Parachinar -10, Hunza and Kalam -7, Gilgit -6 and Quetta -5, Islamabad Peshawar and Lahore 1, Faisalabad 2, Multan 4 and Karachi 9 Celsius.
