Summary CNG Association and transporters strike continues in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Angry people meanwhile clashed with police in the twin cities. Police baton charged protesters to disperse them as demonstrations enter the second day. CNG Association and transporters strike against gas load shedding and hike in prices has entered the third day while the transporters are also observing strike which has entered the second day.The transporters have gathered near Faizabad and have blocked the roads. Traffic from Faizabad to Pir Wadhai and Muree Road has been blocked. Citizens are facing problems due to closure of transport and CNG.Bus stops are crowded with the passengers but the transport is unavailable. Some transporters tried to run the transport but the protesters union jammed them while some protesters also attacked some vehicles with batons. The taxi drivers are charging high fares.On the other hand, CNG Association has announced to stage a protest in front of the Parliament during the National Assembly session against increase in prices and suspension of CNG.
