The Lahore High Court ordered the DIG Operations to arrest all the proclaimed offenders within three weeks and take action against the SHOs who shy away from complying with the court order.The DIG told the court that there are 22,445 POs in the city of Lahore. He said how citizens can feel safe when so many proclaimed offenders are out there.Justice Rauf Sheikh ordered the DIG to take the required action and arrest all the POs.The court passed the order while hearing a petition by a citizen, Muhammad Ali, who told the court that the proclaimed offenders who snatched his Rs 1 billion property through forgery were walking free while police were taking no action.
