Addressing his party’s huge rally at Mazar-e-Quaid ground, Imran Khan said his party has a roadmap for Pakistan’s future. He said the roadmap is the Quaid’s roadmap. He said Pakistan would be made corruption-free.He said all his dreams come true. He said when he was child he dreamed of playing in national side. He said when he was in team, he dreamed of making Pakistan the best team. He said people were sceptical. “They would say Pakistan cricket doesn’t have infrastructure to be the best team,” he said of people’s skepticism. “But all my dreams were granted. Even my dream to have Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital was granted.”Imran Khan said he now had dreamed of making Pakistan a truly Islamic, welfare state as per the Quaid’s vision. He said his this dream will also be realised.Imran said he would solidify the judicial system to make it the world’s best. Addressing the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Imran said that if anybody dared blocking the way of justice, PTI workers would clear them of the way.The PTI chief said his political team would have no space for the corrupt. “Nobody will be given the party ticket without declaring assets. Not a single corrupt will be tolerated,” he said, adding that his government would be liable to regular accountability.He said his party will introduce uniformed – one for all – system of education in the country. He said Pakistan’s agriculture potential would be realized to the fullest.Imran said today animals have more rights in Europe than people have rights in this part of the world. Early, addressing the rally in Karachi, Javed Hashmi, who has recently joined the PTI, said that “we have gathered at Mazar-e-Quaid for peace”.“I said yes, I am rebel of tyranny, martial law, looters, corrupt rulers and injustice,” Hashmi said.Terming himself a rebel, Hashmi said that Imran has invited a rebel in his rally. “This rebel will stand beside you (Imran) against injustice and tyranny,” he assured.Referring to Afia Siddiqui, Javed Hashmi said that Afia is nation’s daughter and it’s time to deal with US on equal basis for justice to Afia.Renowned singer and social worker Ibrar-ul-Haq, while addressing the rally, congratulated the nation on the start of process of revolution. Ibrar said that Pakistan’s future is bright and revolution is knocking at the doors of Pakistan.He said that time has come when all our dreams of change will become true which we have been seeing since our child hood.At the end, Ibrar said that I am giving the nation good news of revolution in the country. Ibrar also read out a poem at the end of his speech.In his brief address at PTI’s Karachi rally, former senator Azam Khan Swati said that there is corruption everywhere and double standards for rich and poor in the country and we have joined Pakistan for rule of law and justice.Today Imran Khan is here to assure youth that new Pakistan will be the country of merit and justice, Swati said.Jehangir Tareen, in his address at PTI’s Karachi rally, said that when democractic government came, people were hoping that their lot will change, but the PPP government even killed people’s hope.The people of Pakistan had become hopeless due to persistent corrupt governments. In this situation, Tareen said, Imran emerged as a ray of hope for Pakistan and Pakistani nation. The only solution of corrupt mafia is that tsunami of people washed away the corrupt rulers, he said.Tareen vowed to sacrifice for the nation under the leadership of Imran Khan.Former foreign minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri, Senior PTI leader Hamid Khan, Former Supreme Court Judge and Justice Wajihuddin Ahmad also addressed the rally.Addressing the rally, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pak nuke programme cant be safe under Zardari as President.Shah Mehmood Qureshi, PTI Vice-Chairman and former foreign minister, said that President Zardari told him when he was foreign minister that former foreign secretary had assured to the US on behalf of the government of Pakistan that Pakistan would not object to India and US civil nuclear deal.Qureshi said when he asked former secretary Riaz about prtesence of any agreement or assurance, he termed it a white lie. He said now there can be no threat to democracy.He also said there is also national consensus on free media, adding that Pakistanis also have a consensus on nuclear power. If Pakistan is a nuclear power today, the nation has paid a price for it. The nation would not let anyone compromise its nuclear power.While Qureshi was addressing, the rally participants intermittantly chanted Go Zardari Go slogans.Qureshi said Pakistan s nuclear programme has five-tier security mechanism in place. He also pointed to conspiracies against Pak nikes, vowing that the nation would foil all such evil designs.He also said Pakistanis want US relations, not US slavery. He said the Pakistanis must reject the party which forces nation to be a slave.He asked the charged crowed: Would you allow Zardari or anyone to compromise Pakistan s nuclear programme.He also exhorted the rally to shout louder so that the voice, the consensus of Pakistanis on protection of nuclear programme, be heared in the power corridors in Islamabad and Washington alike.It is worth mentioning here that ex foreign minister Sardar Asif Ahmad Ali has confirmed that he has joined Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.While talking to the Dunya News, he said that he had decided to join PTI without any pressure.He said, “I had reservations regarding economic and denfence policies and drawn the attention of PPP leadership to the problems faced by the country but every time, his suggestions were neglected without taking them serious.”
