Summary Government has imposed 2-193 percent per MMBTU infrastructure surcharge on gas prices.
According to the Petroleum Ministry, the surcharge has been imposed on fertilizers, CNG, IPPs and power sector.About Rs 197, Rs 13, Rs 27 and Rs 79-148 per MMBTU surcharge has been imposed on fertilizers, industrial, power and CNG sector respectively.The ministry has issued notification regarding the surcharge.
