Summary 13 people have been killed in yet another CNG cylinder blast.
The accident took place in Khairpur in a passenger van. 13 of the passengers died while 10 others are reported injured. Rescue activities were continuing at the time of publication of this report.The incidents of CNG cylinder blasts are rising in the country. The Petroleum Ministry has recently imposed ban on the import of CNG cylinders, while the CNG Association says the Ministry needs to enforce inspection of old and substandard cylinders in vehicles which are causing accidents.
