Summary The foreign office has submitted its answer on memo issue to the attorney general.
While showing its ignorance from memo, the foreign office, in its answer, said that to accept the existence of any memo on the basis of the submitted plea would be hypothetical.Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq said there is no solid query in the memo plea which to be answered. Also, there is much space in apex court’s directive about submitting or not submitting the answer, he said. However, we will submit our reply before the court in black and white, he added.The attorney general said that local and international media has declared Mansoor Ijaz an unreliable person. It is incomprehensible that why the whole system is being paralysed for such person, he wondered.
