Summary LHC sought explanation from AG and AGP over political activities in Governor House on Dec 20.
The petitioner’s lawyer submitted that the governor Punjab, according to the constitution and law, is the representative of the federation and no political activity would be allowed in Governor House.Despite of this, the governor Punjab is continuing to hold political activities with government funds in the Governor House which is the clear violation of the constitution, he submitted. The court has sought answer from Attorney General and Advocate General Punjab on December 20.
