Summary Parliamentary committee has sought explanations from foreign defence secretaries on memo issue.
Session of Parliamentary Committee for national security was held in Islamabad chaired by Foreign Minister Raza Rabbani Khar in which the memo issue, Chief of Air Staff’s speech in Dubai and law and order situation in Balochistan were discussed in detail.It was decided in the meeting that the foreign and defence secretaries would be called in the next session of the body to be held after Muharram for briefing.Last day, PM Gilani had announced for formation of high-level committee to probe issue but the government could not materialize its promise made with the nation.
