Summary Polling for PK 61 by-election started in the morning and will continue till 5pm without any break.

Extraordinary arrangements have been made on this occasion while 9 out of 38 polling stations have been declared sensitive and Section 144 has been imposed across Kohistan area.To complete the election process, 50 presiding officers, 111 assistant presiding officers and 111 polling officers have been appointed to conduct the polling.The total number of registered voters in PK 61 is 84500 while 11 candidates are contesting the elections; however, the real contest is expected between joint candidate of PPP-ANP Engineer Sajjad Ullah and PML-Q’s Malik Aurangzeb.It is worth mentioning here that this seat turned vacant after the death of former MPA Maulana Ubaid Ullah.
