Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif has order the Excise Department to immediately open the PTI office.
The Punjab Excise Department has sealed PTI Lahore office due to nonpayment of taxes but it has been reopened in few minutes on Punjab Chief Minister’s order.According to the Excise DG, the office was sealed on nonpayment of Rs 3.5 lac property tax.The Punjab Government clarified the action against PTI was taken by the Excise Department on its own without asking from the political leadership. The department was directed to solve the issue through negotiations with the PTI officials.The PTI office is situated at the Jail Road Lahore.
