Summary All powers of the PEPCO have been transferred to the National Transmission and Dispatch Company.
The resolution to dissolve Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) was taken in the board of directors meeting in Islamabad.Orders to dissolve PEPCO were issued on October 31. According to sources 12 departments of PEPCO have been transferred to the National Transmission Dispatch Company. The sources further informed that permanent employees of PEPCO have been adjusted in different department while decision on ad hoc employees will be taken later.
